“ Wowza! Been traveling for a month and this was the best food I’ve had during the trip. Absolutely delicious appetizers and hand rolls. Everything we ate was 10/10. They also have an exhaustive list of beers and sake. Will absolutely come back on my next visit to LA. ”
“ We visited Yunomi last weekend with a few friends for a casual dinner, and I was excited to check it out after hearing so many great things. The ambiance at Yunomi is cozy and sleek, with warm lighting and minimalist decor. The space feels inviting, with a relaxed vibe. The seating was comfortable, but I could see how it might get a little tight during busy hours. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful suggestions from the menu. The food came out at a great pace and didn’t feel rushed at all. The staff checked in with us just the right amount of times without being intrusive and happily explained whenever we had questions. Now, the hand rolls. The food exceeded my expectations. We each ordered the hand rolls sets, and it was perfectly done with a rich blend of flavors. The apps were also great. Yunomi has single handedly ruined all other hand roll places for me as nothing compares to it now. Looking forward to visiting again. Parking is a bit hard as the restaurant is located in a busy area with a lot of nearby shops. Definitely recommend Yunomi. Will be back again. ”
“ Best Japanese Fusion food we have tried in LA so far! It definitely deserves the Michelin star award. ”
“ Amazon hand roll. I only had avocado cucumber hand roll and it was good. The Brussel sprouts and shishito peppers are delicious. The bar design was cool. Staff were friendly. There are only bar seats no dining tables and you have to wait until all parties arrived to be seated. Overall I had a pretty good experience. ”
“ Yunomi Handroll is an absolute gem! The food is delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that make every bite incredible. The spicy albacore on crispy rice is an absolute must-try; perfectly crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. On top of that, the staff is so friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. I’m glad I just moved to walking distance from this absolutely gem! ”
“ One of my favorite sushi handroll spots in LA. Great service. Food is great. I usually like to get the 5 piece set. Great for a date or hang out with a friend for a catch up. Dope ambience. Awesome neighborhood that’s right in the heart of the arts district so plenty to doin the area. ”
“ I have had both kazunori and Sugar Fish. Their rolls were filling enough to get me through the night, but in terms of taste and variety, it is still not at the same level as kazunori. Their yunomi special is a good opener and the baked crab a good closer. I wasn't impressed by the softshell crab nor their unagi shrimp tempura. Overall however it is worth the try. The atmosphere of the place is pretty chill and cozy, great to go out with a small group/date. Service was excellent, the staff was supper attentive and candid which helps the whole atmosphere. ”
“ Incredible handroll specialty restaurant. Amazing choice of beers and sake. Loved the appetizers and our favorite handroll was the yunomi special. Bar seating only, but a wonderful experience. Decently priced for the quality of food and atmosphere provided. Lovely place for specialty occasions and birthdays. ”
